Insight Direct Appoints William Agush as Vice President of Marketing | Tech Industry Veteran to Drive Marketing Innovation at Field Service
BOSTON, Massachusetts, February 26 - Today, Insight Direct, a leading provider of business management software for small and mid-size field service companies, announced the appointment of William Agush to the new position of Vice President, Marketing. The appointment signals Insight Direct's increased focus on marketing to drive the company's sales, growth and brand in the largely untapped market of 425,000i mid-size service firms in the United States. Agush reports to Insight Direct Chief Executive Officer Jim Triandiflou. "We are delighted to have a leader of William's caliber heading marketing," said Triandiflou. Most recently, Agush was Vice President of Marketing for web application performance leader Gomez, where he helped grow revenue three-fold over three years, leading to their successful sale in November 2009 to Compuware for $295 million. Prior to Gomez, he held senior marketing positions at Marketsoft, Verbind, Global Knowledge Network, PictureTel and Prime Computer. In addition, Agush has provided marketing counsel to start-ups such as Constant Contact, Proclivity Systems, Brilig, and RightScale, as well as established technology brands including Workscape and GE Healthcare.
