What can field service businesses
do to fight back soaring gas prices?
ServiceCEO customers may not be able to control gasoline prices,
but they can take control of their routing and scheduling. ServiceCEO's
Scheduling Assistant gives companies the ability to plan out optimal
routes, cut fuel costs and increase profits by reducing the amount
of drive time between jobs.
The Scheduling Assistant also offers seamless integration with
Microsoft® |
MapPoint® so that dispatchers
can get a visual display of scheduled jobs. In a few simple steps
the dispatcher can view all crews that match the criteria of the
job, and then choose the crew that is the best fit in regards to
proximity and availability.
Another useful feature is ServiceCEO's Dispatch Board, which allows
customers to view all crews and jobs for the day. This feature also
integrates with MapPoint and saves time by instantly providing driving
directions to crews, as well as helping a lost team member find
its way back to a job. By inputting the price of gasoline into MapPoint,
the dispatcher can also estimate the total cost of gas per crew
for the day.
With continuing spikes in today's fuel prices and mounting financial
pressures on field service companies, ServiceCEO's powerful routing,
scheduling, and dispatching tools could save business owners hundreds,
