In January of 2007, Microsoft will replace Windows XP with the new Windows Vista. Please read the FAQs below and feel free to contact us if you have any questions that we have not addressed here.
Q: Should I upgrade from my current operation system to Windows Vista?
A: If you feel you will gain a benefit from Windows Vista, we are recommending that most customers wait until the first Vista Service-pack to upgrade and then only upgrade if you have access to ServiceCEO Version 6.1. You can explore Microsoft’s Vista site (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/default.aspx) to understand Vista’s new features and determine whether you would benefit from an upgrade.
Q: Will ServiceCEO work with the Vista operation system?
A: Our 6.1 release will be 100% compatible with Vista once it is out of the Beta phase.
Q: Will previous versions of ServiceCEO work with Windows Vista?
A: Since development Betas of Windows Vista did not exist at the time when previous versions of ServiceCEO were built, we cannot guarantee seamless compatibility.
Q: What is the best way to make sure this won’t cause any headaches down the road?
A: The best way to reduce future issues is to make sure that you are using the latest version of ServiceCEO and upgrade to version 6.1 when it is released. As soon as Version 6.1 is released, we will notify all ServiceCEO users with e-mail addresses on file.
