  ServiceCEO 6.0 Available March 6th!

We're excited to announce that the newest version of ServiceCEO will be available Monday, March 6th. Starting then, you will have the ability to upgrade to ServiceCEO through the Member Center.

Here are some of the new and exciting features you'll get in ServiceCEO:

Vehicle Tracking and Management
This integrated GPS-based solution from Insight Direct and SageQuest allows customers to track, route and generate useful reports on your entire fleet of field service vehicles.

Marketing Campaigns
ServiceCEO 6.0 enhances marketing capabilities by replacing Marketing Codes with Campaigns - allowing customers to better track specific marketing programs, how they performed, overall costs and revenue-generating potential.

Payroll/Timecards
New and improved payroll capabilities in ServiceCEO 6.0 enable customers to generate and control their employee payroll details including time cards, work hours, pay cycles, time codes, pay checks, and much more in one centralized location.

XML Exporting
Integration with General Ledger (G/L) applications is now even easier to complete with ServiceCEO 6.0's use of Extensible Markup Language (XML) which allows customers to easily export their accounting transactions for use in their G/L database.

Posting Invoices
Customers can now control when an invoice is reflected in a customer balance via the Posted field - allowing the invoice, once posted, to be reflected in the customer's balance and all other relevant financial reports as of the correct posted date.

Project Control Panel
With ServiceCEO 6.0, all projects and visit level actions and edits can now be easily performed from one central location rather than previous multi-step project building processes.

ServiceCEO Tips of the Month

Prevent Data Loss
Be sure to back up your database on a regular basis. Backing up your data, combined with regular hard drive maintenance (Defragmenting, Disk Clean up, defining regular restore points on XP computers), will help you prevent any accidental data loss due to corrupted equipment.

Note that we recommend that you back up your data on a daily or weekly basis and store your backed up data in a secure “off-site” (not on your server) location. For more information, please read the Backing Up the Database section of the online ServiceCEO Help System.
