As companies sought to get the New Year started right by getting started with ServiceCEO, the attendance of our training classes went through the roof! In January, attendance at live training classes set a new record for a single month as well over 900 people attended training. The previous high mark, set in November, was 662. Moreover, the attendance for each specific class also set a new record. Most notable were StartingRIGHT, with over 230 attendees, and our general Q&A class with over 250 attendees.
Our live training classes were not the only training resources used extensively in January, however. During the month, over 4,500 of our pre-recorded training videos were watched by customers and almost 350 training databases were downloaded. Both of these marks were also records! In all, over 550 companies pursued some kind of training during the month of January!
This high attendance in training classes is very exciting for us at Insight Direct because it means that more of our customers are utilizing the resources we have worked to make available in our Member Center…and that means that more of our customers will get up and running even faster. In fact, our research shows that using these training resources—classes, videos, and training databases—can save a company as much as 40% of the time it would normally take to implement ServiceCEO.

Daylight savings comes early this year on Sunday, March 11th due to the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This change will affect servers and PCs that have not been patched/updated to handle this change. More specifically, it will affect any application that is dependant on system time stamps. Applications that rely on time stamps are programs that have features for scheduling, billing and contract deadlines. Any program dependent on time stamps will run into trouble if action is not taken prior to March 11th.
Although we are not aware of any issues with ServiceCEO and daylight savings time changes, we strongly recommend that you install the necessary patches and updates to your computers' and servers' operating systems to prevent any unforeseen issues.
