Insight Direct is seeking a Telephone Customer Support Representative for our Technical Support Department. This position will play a key role in ensuring on-going customer satisfaction by providing timely response to incoming phone support requests. This position will be recording and reporting requests for Technical support from our customers who have a wide range of technical proficiency.
This is a gateway position at Insight Direct that offers a career path in Tech Support, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Software Engineering, or our Professional Services Department.
Responsibilities:
- Responds to customer phone inquires on technical support problems.
- Documents customer trouble reports in trouble ticketing system and escalates according to established standard operating procedures.
- Reviews requests, contacts customers to clarify request, ensuring all necessary information is included and may route requests to the appropriate department.
Requirements
- Strong Computer Skills (Windows XP\2000, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Must enjoy working with people over the phone.
- Excellent phone skills (proactive listening, patience, speaks clearly and concisely).

Accurate and efficient communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
- Must be able to effectively prioritize issues and work well in a team environment.
