We're currently searching for a Marketing Specialist who can step in to execute and measure our blend of marketing programs that generate leads and increase sales. We're seeking that bright, dynamic, individual that is ready to learn new things but also ready to share their experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute direct mail and/or e-mail marketing campaigns and track customer responses from inquiry to sale closure (i.e., execute closed-loop marketing)
  • Assist with marketing initiatives including SEO rankings and PPC costs
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and print/mail vendors for direct mail pieces and other sales/marketing collateral
  • PR; generating press releases, securing coverage in trade publications and online sources
  • Execute print advertising, including researching new publications, associations and opportunities for exposure
  • Responsible for mailing list research and acquisition
  • Manage trade show activity and speaking engagements

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience , preferably in the software industry
  • BA/BS in Marketing (or Business)
  • Excellent writing skills that translate seamlessly to e-mail messages, print materials, advertisements and presentation materials
  • Coordinated use of CRM applications (Salesforce.com) and e-mail marketing tools (like, Gotmarketing, Constant Contact, ExactTarget)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, listen to and incorporate multiple points of view
  • Ability to quickly learn a new software product and clearly communicate its value proposition
  • Proactive about researching and recommending targeted marketing programs
